A vintage 3’9 x 6’10 mid-century rug from the Mid-Century Pasha Collection by Rug & Kilim. Hand-knotted in wool from Turkey circa 1960-1970, believed to be among the rare curations of multi-disciplinary icon, Zeki Müren. This rug marks a take on traditional, almost tribal Turkish sensibilities with a distressed, shabby-chic texture inherent to this artist. Anatolian motifs enjoy more modern colourways like red, blue and purple on the more rustic golden-brown; a fabulous marriage of classic geometry with a playful sense of movement.
